Sailor Moon AU set in the Elder Scrolls universe? Somehow?

paksenarrion-reader:

oh my god Rhio

1. We need to add a passage to The Book of Daedra. Immediately.

2. Sanguine, whose sphere is hedonistic revelry and debauchery, and passionate indulgences of darker natures.
Serenity, whose sphere is the upturning of loyalties, and who reshapes the already shaped to suit her own purposes.
Sheogorath, whose sphere is Madness, and whose motives are unknowable.

3. If Azura could have decided the Dunmer are hers, then Queen
Serenity can easily decide that people who used to be someone else’s
are hers now.

4. The four Inners are now Daedric Champions
stolen from other Princes – Mars from Mehrunes Dagon, Mercury from
Hermaeus Mora, Jupiter from Malacath, Venus from Sanguine.

5. Mephala isn’t as “you want a mortal? I got twenty.” as Hermaeus Mora, as *shrug emoji* as Sanguine or Dagon, or as gullible as Malacath. Neptune’s soul is the subject of a long and fierce debate between these two Princes, and the outcome is uncertain to date. She seems to take advantage of that and carries on to her own liking.

6. Uranus is the idiot who made a pact with Clavicus Vile, probably something like “I want to be a hero” – “sure, I’ll send a plague of monsters that you’re not equipped to deal with against your region as an opportunity for you to be a hero, have fun with that lmao”. She’s highkey relieved when Serenity snatches possession of her soul instead. Can’t be worse than Vile, right? Right?

7. Pluto is an avatar of Akatosh on par with the giant golden dragon, but easier to move in among mortals when necessary, and shows up even less than in the Sailor Moon canon. Serenity boasts a claim to Pluto’s soul, to which literally all other Princes just roll their eyes.

8. Saturn is Umbra, you can’t change my mind. Lowkey public enemy of Serenity because maybe getting killed by Umbra is an extreme alternative, but an alternative nonetheless, to meeting your end of the bargain (with interest) you’ve struck with a Daedra Lord.

9. The Silver Millennium is now a Plane of Oblivion. Barren expanse of gray dust, broken pillars, ruined palace, architecture you won’t find in Nirn. No, not even in the Ayleid ruins. Masser and Secunda can continue to be the corpse of Lorkhan floating in the night sky.

10. see point 3 – if Azura, Boethiah, and Mephala can be considered the god-ancestors of the Dunmer, then Serenity can be considered the god-ancestor of the SM canon’s royal line.

11. Where Were You When The Dragon Broke The Princess Fell

12. Instead of the Emperor getting kidnapped by his top dog Battlemage, or the evil dragon god plopping out from the abyss to end the world, or the ~4k yo self-made false god spreading his insanity through volcanic fumes, the actual crisis is the Daedric Champions, each with double allegiances, tearing through the mainland in pursuit of the same goal and it is finding the Princess. The first one to achieve it gets their soul back.

13. “Let’s pair up to increase our odds at success.”
“Who did you get snatched from again?”
      “Hermaeus Mora, why?”
“YOU THINK I’M GONNA TRUST YOU.”
“God, fine, suit yourself, I’ll be there next time you need someone to cast a spell for you, meathead.”

14. Jupiter still swings the Volendrung. Mars still stabs people with Mehrunes’ Razor. Mercury still can recite entire passages from the Oghma Infinitum. Venus still pretends the Staff of Sanguine is just an elaborate walking stick.

15. The Serenity cultists move to the top list of Personae Non Grata of the Emperor of Tamriel, because you can’t have anyone else on the continent claiming a royal title and divine ancestry, now can you.

16. The Player Character starts out as a prisoner on death row, convicted for associating with the Serenitists. The pre-prepared backstories to choose from during character creation are: actually following the Serenitists, stopping on your way to elsewhere because you want to see what the Serenitists are really about, arguing with the Serenitists, and waiting to assassinate one of the more important Serenitists. The open-ended backstory of the “enter your own, but we still have to base in-game dialogue on something” sort is you’ve been selling your wares or services to the Serenitists, and what those wares or services constituted is left to your own interpretation.

17. Then the execution is cancelled by the Inners choosing the same time and place to try and murder each other in an effort to reduce competition. Michiru is seen in the background, sitting like a lady somewhere she can get a good look and sipping wine. Haruka is also seen in the background, feebly trying to say “maybe if we did work together–” and getting a resounding, fourfold “YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH.” before the battle continues, scattering the Imperial Legion soldiers. The prisoners take the advantage and scram. Where will YOU go, Player Character?

18. The Player Character’s default look is a redhead girl with a teal bow in her hair, just so we can continue the tradition of Naru getting the short end of the stick in EVERY SAILOR MOON ADAPTATION, and break the tradition of Naru being irrelevant.
