You know what? I was going back through my art tag and I still really fucking like this so HAVE A REBLOG (holy shit this is a year old???)
Mako herself would have thought, after a life like hers, that things like that would no longer bother her, at least not so deeply. We get used to whatever happens to us all the time, isn’t that true? She would say to herself, but the news of Ami’s death gave a low, hollow pain that she had felt so many times, but never found a way to get used to.
She looked down at her end of her bed, the blanket dipping back to the mattress where her knee used to be, and something about it felt right. A piece of her was cut off.
She felt at the ring on her hand, the one that stayed a solid gold band now, the one that had always shone with a bright green stone flanked by roses, but lay quiet now. Her senshi family were no longer senshi, not anymore, now they were just Usagi and Mako and Mina and Rei and…Ami, except there was no Ami, of course. Hard to remember that.
If you are no longer senshi, a dark part of her whispered, you are no longer family, either. You’re alone again.
She shook her head, as if she could shake the thought out. It wasn’t true. Things like that don’t just happen.
Friends would have been better if Chandler and Joey ended up together. Like it’s Chandler and Joey, their lesbian neighbors Monica and Rachel, and their wacky friend Phoebe.

It would be my stupid ass that forgot to take her antibiotics, so that I had to rush to the breakroom with a pill in my mouth, (because why would I take the bottle*) to choke down a cup of water that wasn’t near enough to rinse the taste out of my mouth, in order to spit the nasty residue out right as the prettiest lady here walked into the bathroom. Real slick, me.
Happy summer! This is just a notice that Chapter 3 of Lovespells has wrapped up, and Chapter 4 will be starting as of the next update (08/10/16), so now is a good time to jump onboard if you haven’t yet. The up-to-date chapter listing can be found here.
About the Comic: Lovespells currently updates once a week on Wednesday and is simply a comic about two girls falling in love. The setting is JRPG-esque and takes a lot of cues from the Tales Of series. The first two chapters are greyscale, and everything from Chapter 3 on is/will be full color.
We’re dedicated to making the story low-stress and positive, so this comic is is not about coming out, nor does it feature grim themes, body or sexuality negativity, break-ups, persecution, or character death. It’s just about two girls who fall in love by working on magic together, and our protagonists are a super gay witch and a gay ace magic knight. That’s it!
These are the nerds you’ll be dealing with:
Everything is cute, colorful (after chapter 2), safely PG-13, and the worst that happens is that it’ll take some time before they fumble into things because of their inexperience. Oops. The story of them becoming a couple also leads into a larger, overarching JRPG-style, fondly trope-filled plot, which we’re hoping to make small fun comics about in the near future.
