For Day 24 of Angstober, but it’s not going in the tag because it’s really just BroTP and a smattering of Reinako. I’ve been working on this since before Angstober started, so god willing, it’s okay. 4,008 words.

“I’m
going to Mexico!” Haruka’s face lit up in a smile as she
brandished a guidebook. “I’m gonna live on the beach for like, a
month.”

“I
see we’re not taking your lovely and supportive friend.” Mina
teasingly cocked an eyebrow.

Haruka
considered her guidebook. “I just need to get away. Some time to
myself.” Her voice softened. “It’s been about five years, you
know.”

Hey guys, I’m posting yet another warning to not buy from Teechip. This ad has been floating around Facebook, and I’ve gotten messages from concerned fans every day this week. I’m so grateful to every one of them; you guys really have my back in this fight! I’ve sent Teechip multiple DMCA takedown notices, but their response so far has been to ignore them and advertise harder. If you see this add anywhere, PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS STOLEN FAN ART, AND DO NOT BUY FROM TEECHIP! I’ve already written extensively about this experience, but just to reiterate:

  • Teechip steals fan art to print on cheap products
  • Teechip sells this fan art in false ‘limited time’ sales that are actually there for as long as they want
  • Teechip mass advertises on Facebook
  • Teechip’s twitter, @Teechipofficial, is 50% replying to angry fan artists who’ve had their art stolen
  • The other 50% is replying to customers angry about missing orders
  • Probably a huge scam anyway; do not buy into it

I’ve finally e-mailed Teechip’s host website, Amazon.com, with another DMCA takedown notice. Amazon has been much better about getting my stolen fanart removed in the past, so my fingers are crossed for a positive response on that soon!
