On that note, do you think that Haruka bought Hotaru Heelies just so she could wear them too and justify it to herself (and others; just imagine that conversation with me.) Like buying them for her tiny child and then acting like safety wheels and just holding Hotaru’s hands as they glide through the park or something

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I fucking love that Haruka’s just like trying to be so ~cool~ and ~suave~ with her thick-ass book (Haruka pls)

I also really…really really love that her head actually fits better on Michiru’s lap. Like, this was a design decision that they came to 

“Haruka is OF COURSE going to be with Michiru so let’s have them be all cute and vaguely angsty” (because Haruka just looks so pensive) “but just in case some random fool only buys one of these two angst lords, we really should give her a prop like the skull of her enemy or-”

“oh I know! a book! She just loves those right?”

“………yeah sure, Tommy. Haruka loves books.”

I mean seriously. What’s she even going to do with that thing, brain someone with it? Seduce Michiru with it’s 300 pages of color illustrations of muscle cars?
