Well, staying up until 2a to watch through to the ending of Utena wasn’t like my FIRST choice of the day but, here we are, and holy fucking shit I now understand all the queue tags I see all you Utena nerds use haha. That was………definitely something! I’m not sure what yet because it’s fucking 2a and I’m tired as shit but I think I need a drink, and to stab Akio, and then sleep for like 12 hours.
I do know that now that I’ve seen what’s going to happen, that in no way has curbed my enthusiasm for Doc watching it. I’m pretty sure I’m 10000% MORE into watching it because she’s fucking amazing at commentary, plus now I’ll at least be on the same page where I’ll have an idea of what’s going on. Possibly not much more idea than I have now, mind you, but some idea lmao.

@paksenarrion-reader I think the draw for me, is that I know they’ll be terrible but I have this kind of inherent need to find out *how* terrible. Kind of like stealing a candle from a haunted house as a child is a terrible idea but you do it anyways*
