7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

There was, it could be fairly assumed, a time before Mina
had feelings for Rei, but she can’t remember when that was, what it might have
been like. It seemed like it had always been a part of her, and the frustration
of knowing Rei wanted that too, but wouldn’t give it to herself, burned inside
her like Rei herself. It made her angry, and she lost that anger in the bodies
of plenty of others—the physical and emotional had always been separate for
her, and there was something about escaping, about the motions of life, that
made it easier. Or maybe that was knowing Rei hated it, hated her thousand
paramours, and that if Rei could make her burn, she could make Rei burn, too.

19.Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?

 Haruka knows all about Mina and Rei before they are
even, really, a thing. Haruka is easy for Mina, in some ways—there’s never a
trick behind her, she is easy to read, and her predictability is comforting, and
in ways she counteracts Rei’s mercurial mix of love and hate. And she trusts
her with the secret of Rei, and her love for Rei, and how she will have her, in
the end.

26. What would be their theme song?

ahaha I have to think about this one, I could have told
you before you asked. I once started a story based off Adele’s “Hello” and I do
like that as an end for them, in some universes, close but never touching.

29. one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart

Rei denies herself Mina’s love for so long and for so
many reasons: Duty, a desire to be strong, a desire to be free, fear. In some
worlds, it comes between them forever, and in some she is strong enough to give
herself the world.

Mina and Rei love each other, but they don’t NEED each
other. Their love is one built of pleasure and not requirement. They are strong
and independent, and they simply give in to the pleasure of being together.
Worlds would not crumble if she left, and the sun would still rise, but she is
the warm blanket on my bed and the marshmallow in my hot cocoa.
