Previous Post I’ve been thinking a lot about compulsory heterosexuality, especially as my sons near puberty. We’re not there yet, but like Winter, it is coming. I don’t want my boys to feel pressure to be het, like I did. I know that many cultural pressures are different for girls and boys, but I thought you might have some insight on helping ease those social pressures for them, at least at home. I try to be pretty gender-neutral when speaking of possible future mate choices, for example, but could do more?
