I went through and turned off the new “on blog advertising” “feature” on this blog and all my sideblogs when it was first announced. Today when I went to look at my settings for a totally different reason, the toggle was back to “ON.”
Now this may not have been @staff changing that option without my consent, it might have been a bug, or even a fuck-up on my part (that last one’s a definite no) buuuuuuuut considering their track record, I’m not giving them the benefit of the doubt. Probably ought to double check yours too, folks.
Two of my three had it back to on.
Calling BULLSHIT.
Ads were on again for my main blog, too. Anybody not wanting these, take a second to double check.
