with trans people having been socialized as members of the “”“”“opposite gender”“”“” we cis LGB+’s might want to keep in mind that they may not be aware of some basic lifehacks that are supposed to be #JustGirlyThings or #JustBoyishThings respectively

a trans woman friend of mine was crying that one time and since she’d been forced into behaving like a boy for a significant chunk of her life, and boys are not permitted to cry past a certain age (which is a problem on its own but not the problem I want to talk about in this post) and it was kind of a setback since she had to look presentable soon after, so I told her to go splash some cold water on her face to help with that
idk, I guess what I’m trying to say is, @ my fellow cis ppl, consider: empathy
